Ear surgery (otoplasty)
is a common plastic reconstructive surgery, Most of the time only aesthetic to
correct the frequent lop ear Deformity ,sometimes reconstructive to correct desabling
birth Defects or trauma and burn sequelae The classic
ear plastic surgery for lop ear deformity may be done at any Age after five year
old ,but immediate pre-school time is a good choice to avoid subsequent psychologic
disturbances.
Otoplasty is an out-patient procedure
under local anesthesia with adult or Adolescent patients and general anesthesia
with kids. Otoplasty has a short recovery time with some discomfort during one
week.
